BOTULINUM TOXIN

Botox, Dysport and Xeomin injections are the most commonly performed cosmetic procedure used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles through minimally invasive injections. These injections are made from botulinum toxin A, a therapeutic muscle-relaxing agent approved by the FDA for several different uses. When injected into the skin, it can block the nerve muscles that are responsible for the repetitive actions that cause fine lines and wrinkles thus smoothing them for a younger and more refreshed appearance.

After treatment, the appearance of your wrinkles begins to improve within 3-7 days (depending on which product is used). Most patients achieve their desired results after just one injection, although additional treatment sessions may be required in the future. The results of botulinum toxin injections typically last three to four months, and are the most popular cosmetic procedure with the highest patient satisfaction.

Belotero

Belotero® is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler that plumps up wrinkles by gently replacing the lost hyaluronic acid and restoring support in the skin. This product fills the niche of improving lines that are already creased, like the frown lines between your eyebrows (also known as the 11’s) and the creases above the lip (also known as smokers lines).

Restylane

Restylane is an FDA-approved dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid that restores volume to the skin, lifting and smoothing out wrinkles and other fine lines. This procedure is most commonly used to treat the nasolabial folds and the marionette folds. It can also be used to add volume and shape to the lips. Since Restylane is made from a natural substance found in the body, no pre-testing is required. Restylane produces results that last for months, through its unique ability to bind with water and remain in the skin. The results of this procedure are visible right away, and can last for several months, depending on the condition of the individual patient’s skin.

Restylane® Lyft

Cutera Pearl offers the most effective treatment to address fine lines & wrinkles, sun damaged skin and uneven tone/texture with minimal wound care and without the lengthy downtime required with traditional Erbium and CO2 laser procedures. Many patients experience excellent results after one treatment. Others may want a second treatment for best results. The typical recovery time for Cutera Pearl is 3-4 days.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a synthetic injectable filler that has been approved by the FDA to reduce moderate to severe wrinkles by stimulating the natural production of collagen in the skin. This product is made of microspheres composed of calcium hydroxylapatite within a water-based gel and is made from minerals similar to what makes up our bones. Radiesse can be injected directly into the skin with no need for pre-testing. Radiesse is most effective in reducing the appearance of nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. Radiesse is excellent at adding volume to the cheek bone area, which is often lost as our skin ages. The results of this procedure are visible immediately after the injection and can last for up to a year or even longer. With continued treatment, patients will require fewer and fewer injections.

Juvederm

Juvederm Injectable Gel is a safe, effective hyaluronic acid filler that restores volume to the skin and smoothes away moderate facial wrinkles and folds. The Juvederm gel is made of hyaluronic acid with a smooth consistency, allowing for easy injections and instant, natural-looking results. There is no pre-testing needed for this procedure. The results of this procedure are available right away and can usually last for up to a year. The nasolabial folds, smile lines, marionette lines, tear trough area can all benefit from Juvederm. Juvederm enhances lips beautifully.

Dermapen

The Dermapen has very fine needles that pierce the skin, in a uniform manner to stimulate the collagen to improve shallow scarring, fine lines, and skin texture. Stretch marks have been shown to improve greatly from this procedure. Microchannels are produced in the skin allowing infusion of hyaluronic acid serum during the treatment. Discomfort is mimimal and the patient leaves the office with minimal pinkness of the skin. No peeling of the skin occurs after this procedure and it can be used on all skin types.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face, hands, neck and chest to smooth texture, reduce scarring and remove blemishes and pre-cancerous growths to produce healthy, glowing skin. Our office performs three types of chemical peels, alphahydroxy acids (AHAs), trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and Salicylic acid. A chemical peel can be used to effectively reduce the appearance of fine lines, age spots, freckles, scarring and blotchiness, as well as improve skin tone and texture by removing damaged layers of skin. This procedure is also now performed on younger patients looking to prevent the signs of aging from appearing too early.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a painless, non-invasive, skin rejuvenation procedure using a combination of a fine abrasive tip and vacuum suction applied to the skin. Typically there are no needles or anesthetics required for microdermabrasion. The vacuum pressure and speed are adjusted depending on the sensitivity and tolerance of the skin. Microdermabrasion is often compared to the feeling of a cat licking the skin- a rough but gentle texture. Most patients can return to their regular daily activity after treatment. Microdermabrasion helps improve texture and pigment of the skin.

Juvederm Volbella

From the makers of BOTOX® comes a new filler from Allergan® called Juvederm Volbella® for lip enhancement and to smooth lines around the mouth. Volbella® can last up to 12 months with a more natural look and feel by increasing volume with minimal downtime and pain as compared to other lip fillers.

Laser Genesis

The Laser Genesis laser treats fine lines and wrinkles and textural irregularity (large pore size, small scars) with little to no downtime – ideal for an active lifestyle. Usually requires 3 to 5 treatments to see excellent results, treatments can be done weekly.

Limelight Laser (IPL)

The Limelight Laser (IPL) treats discoloration of the skin such as redness and light brown spots. Treatment usually requires 2 to 3 sessions to see excellent results but we can intensify treatment if you don’t mind a bit of downtime (possible swelling, peeling, etc).

Neo:YG Laser

Our Neo:Yg Laser targets superficial and deep vascular concerns on the face and body. Ideal for broken blood vessels and small angiomas. Can also lessen the appearance of pink/red stretch marks.

Skinvive

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® helps the skin retain its natural moisture and softness, leading to an improvement in the skin smoothness of the cheeks.
